Calculate calendar days and working days
Enter two dates to get the total days between them, the equivalent in weeks, approximate months and years, and a working-day count (Monday to Friday, public holidays not included). Tick the inclusive option to count both the start and end dates — that one-day difference in convention is a classic source of contract and scheduling disputes.
Date differences for planning and deadlines
Checking how many working days remain before a launch; verifying whether a contract term, probation period, or warranty has expired; counting down to an exam, wedding, or holiday; calculating tenure for leave entitlement; checking promised delivery times. Any situation where two dates need to become a duration.
Inclusive dates, weekends and public holidays
The working-day figure only removes Saturdays and Sundays — public holidays and adjusted workdays vary by country and year, so check the official calendar for anything formal. Mind the counting convention: from January 1 to January 2 is 1 day exclusive, 2 days inclusive; spell it out when a contract says “within three days”. Dates are parsed as Gregorian calendar dates in your browser's time zone.
